Panama is the link between Central and South America. Most widely known for the Panama Canal, this country has always been a crossroad of cultures. With a population of more than 3.5 million people including Creoles, Mestizos (European & Native American), European immigrants, Africans, Chinese, and indigenous Indians, Panama certainly lives up to its nickname: “The Melting Pot.”

Outreach Opportunities

Aguadulce (translated ‘sweet water’) is a smaller city in the rural part of Panama. It’s located in the heart of the country – about a 3 hour drive from Panama City. Our teams partner with Pastor Jorge who oversees 7 churches in the Aguadulce area. Ministry opportunities include evangelistic programs (drama/dance/testimony) in public schools, universities, hospitals, and urban plazas. Groups will also facilitate children’s and youth programs and partake in various work projects. For a fun activity, be sure to visit the Panama Canal!
