The heart of this program, also known as the School of Ministry Development (SOMD), is to help you grow stronger in understanding yourself as a person of influence and a minister of the Good News of Jesus. Much care is given to help you explore your calling and understand what it means to be a leader. Throughout this 12-week course the focus is on character growth – knowing yourself, your gifts and your strengths while gaining leadership skills and putting action to your passions for ministry. We look at the life of Jesus for our model of authentic servant leadership. Opportunities to teach, disciple, lead, succeed, fail, and live together in community are all part of what makes this school so effective. The Classroom Training Phase is followed by the opportunity to develop a two-month internship with an established ministry that allows you to put it all together with practical application.
